Barbara Kasten Summer Press Roundup /
Though sadly nearing the end of its successful run, Barbara Kasten: Stages, continues to make a mark in print and online. Here is a look at some highlights from the last few months.
Contemporary Art Daily, Barbara Kasten at ICA Philadelphia A great approximation of walking through the exhibition using installation imagery in slideshow. This is a gorgeous online record of the show– so very nice to see the photos completely.
W Magazine Art Issue features both Stages via a slideshow of prints and installation images and Barbara herself (and my portrait below) in the article/roundup of senior artists, Young at Art.

NOW IN PRINT– Barbara Kasten: Stages /
I am delighted to have my photography featured in the elegant and artfully designed (by Mark Owens), Barbara Kasten: Stages. Recently released and available for purchase online, the catalog consists of gorgeous color plates juxtaposed with essays by Liz Deschenes, Alex Kitnick, Alex Klein, and Jenni Sorkin.

The time spent in Barbara’s company was to encounter someone so completely cool, I can only guess it comes from living a long life in pursuit of art for the collective advancement of photography, women artists and anyone with two eyes, a brain and a soul. Or she’s just always been that way.
